SearchPulse ("we," "our," or "us") is operated by Spacemen Digital. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our web application and services.
2. Information We Collect
Account Information
When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from Google OAuth.
Google Search Console Data
With your explicit permission, we access your Google Search Console data in read-only mode. This includes search queries, page performance, click-through rates, impressions, and average position data. We fetch this data in real-time and do not store it unless you explicitly enable the Data Warehouse feature (Pro plan).
Google Analytics Data
If you connect Google Analytics 4, we access your analytics data (sessions, users, page views) in read-only mode to display alongside your Search Console data.
API Keys
If you choose to use AI-powered features, you provide your own Anthropic API key. This key is encrypted using AES-256-GCM encryption before storage and is never shared with third parties.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To authenticate your identity and provide access to the application
- To fetch and display your Search Console and Analytics data in real-time
- To generate custom reports, trend analysis, and performance insights
- To power AI-powered features (using your own API key) such as SEO analysis and natural language queries
- To store historical data if you opt into the Data Warehouse feature
- To improve our services and user experience
4. Data Storage & Security
Your account data is stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted on Supabase with encryption at rest. Search Console data is fetched in real-time and is not stored unless you enable the Data Warehouse feature. All API keys are encrypted using AES-256-GCM before storage. We use HTTPS for all data transmission.
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share data only in the following cases:
- With your consent
- To comply with legal obligations
- To protect our rights and safety
6. Google API Services User Data Policy
SearchPulse's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We only request the minimum necessary scopes (read-only access to Search Console) and do not use the data for advertising purposes.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access your personal data
- Request deletion of your account and all associated data
- Revoke Google permissions at any time through your Google Account settings
- Export your data
8. Cookies
We use essential cookies for authentication (session tokens). We do not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics on this application.
